John Eliasu Mahama
John Eliasu Mahama is a public health and community development practitioner with over 15 years professional experience. John works as the Deputy Director for Partnerships Coordination at Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) where he develops and nurtures relationships to further the mission and goals of GAC. John is an active member of the People’s Health Movement (PHM) Ghana where he has been involved in advocacy for the right to health and action on social determinants of health since 2010.
John previously worked with the Millennium Promise Alliance, from 2013 to 2022, where he coordinated health programmes in West and Central Africa, and provided technical support to country teams. Mahama holds an MSc degree in International Health from the University College London and a Master of Research and Public Policy (MRPP) from the University of Ghana.
